Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow……

This Saturday morning the children were so excited to awake and see that it was snowing-large, fluffy snowflakes. They immediately got dressed and ran outside to play in the snow and when they came back inside I had two cups of hot chocolate on the table waiting for them. Sunday morning, we headed out to get our Christmas tree and tonight we look forward to decorating it.

Today, I received two packages, one for each charm swap I participated in (words, words, words and 12 days of Chrsitmas). Teagan, my five year old daughter, had so much fun helping me open each individually wrapped charm. While opening the 12 days of Christmas charms she couldn’t resist singing this popular holiday carol.  It was so cool to see the uniqueness and creativity of each charm. I love them all! Thank you so much my charmster buddies.
23 days of xmasThe second package, words, words, words, also arrived. Again, very cool charms!! I really enjoyed seeing what everyone else came up with for this theme. At first I didn’t know what I got myself into, participating in two charm swaps during the holiday season, but I managed to pull it altogether and I am so glad I participated. This was so much fun and now I have an abundance and awesome charms!

Besides that, I am just super busy, just like everyone else! I need to write up a tutorial that was due last week, finish my last jewelry exchange swap, keep up with orders, Christmas shop and the list continues:)
Have a great evening.

glad you had that magical morning on saturday – i cannot believe you had boots that still fit! that is always the dilemma for me, because i am near the beach we are always on the rain/snow line… so to outfit everyone with a chance they will never need the gear is chance-y… you will get everything done that you need to… and be there for your family… the charms are wonderful!

oh, if you look closely at my son’s feet, the poor thing is wearing sneakers….I thought I would have a little more time before the first snow fall..and sometimes we don’t get snow at all…we need to make a trip to Target:)

Boots are always the last thing that I think of! One year I hadn’t ordered from Lands End yet and the first snowfall was about to be dumped in about 48 hours…so I paid to OVERNIGHT the boots…when I could have driven down to the distribution center for Lands End about 3 hours away and back….and the snow never did come. So if it is a big snow, what ever you have for your feet works for me!

I can’t wait to see my Words charms. I would have LOVED to play with the 12 days of Christmas. I will keep my eyes open for new challenges in the new year…and I have a few ideas of my own (if I could only find the scrap of paper I jotted them down on before I moved!)

Enjoy the day!

Wow, you guys really did get a lot of snow. How exciting for the kids! They look like they are having such a great time throwing snow balls at each other. Loved the pictures of the swaps. Now get to work on that Christmas list!

Wow, look at all those awesome goodies from the swap! I bet it was lots of fun unwrapping those! I hope we don’t get any snow until Christmas…

I used to love days like these with my children. My husband loves the snow too. He would go outside and pack the snow down so that we’d have great sledding. What fun with your children! And you topped the day off with something for Mommy!

It’s the 19th, and so far we have 20 inches and it’s STILL snowing! I’m STOKED!
