While my husband took the kids to the pool, I enjoyed some free-time in my studio where it’s nice and cool (basement studio). I did a little enameling, gathered some components I made a few weeks ago and created this. Upon finishing the bracelet, I noticed it needed something…it was lacking a personality. So, I added the chain across the front. And when I put the bracelet on, I was pleasantly surprised that the chain laid perfectly centered across the enamel cuff-link. I really like it!
I am confirming all the jewelry artisans for the fundametals design team and I hope to introduce you to everyone by the end of the week. More later.

Love the bracelet. Is it brass? the color combo is great and the chain across the enameled piece does make it! Excellent!
Hi Shelby, I used bronze wire..the chain is copper-that’s all I had on hand:)
Wow, beautiful Jeanette!
I need to get myself some Bronze wire, it’s lovely!
Lovely piece, Jeanette! I am still having problems with the enamel. But I am only trying it on and off, so maybe I just need to really sit down with it.
Love the green!
Great design! So cool!
So pretty, Jeanette! You sure met the challenge (wink, wink) with flying colors… this is a classic Jeanette Blix design – the wirework with the enamel focal is really pretty…and I bet this looks so great when worn. That Steve is a sweet guy giving you all that studio time!
Jeanette – I love this bracelet…is this the bronze wire from your shop…love it…haven’t made anything with what I got from you yet, but am looking forward to it
That green is gorgeous!
LOVE IT!
I’d LOVE to have a go with enameling but I have no idea where to start!!
The bracelet is great! Perfect for someone who loves metal but wants a touch of color. Got the Pea Green. It’s a beautiful color … nearly the same as the color I use for the Spearmint beads, which is Mint on the bottom layer and Lime Transparent on the top.
very cool! love it!
This is really nice, Jeanette! I like the way you design– work a bit, check it out, add what needs to be added. Nothing in a rush. In my opinion, that’s what makes great work– patience, consideration of the overall project and then modification to add the final finishing touches. It’s really worked for you here.
Love your work and really enjoyed your blog! Very refreshing and inspiring! Keep up the creativity! I look forward to seeing more!
