Change is good. I wanted to make a few changes about a year ago, but it didn’t feel right. I wasn’t ready to let go. But now I am ready. I am ready to move forward without any regrets. What kind of changes, you ask? The way I spend my days and fill my time so that I am happy and content with how I live them.
First things first, I am closing fundametals.net, my on-line shop on October 31st. It has been lots of fun, but too big a job for one person and found most my waking hours taking orders and shipping packages. I miss my time creating in the studio. I miss spending time with my children. I miss catching up with my friends…you get the picture. Closing the shop will definitely bring new goals and opportunities, but nothing too big so that I can continue to do the things that I love but still have time for those who I love.

Sorry to hear that Jeanette but totally understand!
Good for you Jeanette! It is so important to recognize when we need a break and more time to devote to the really important things in life! I’m sure great new things are on your horizon!
Jeanette, what a beautiful necklace!!! I love it.
Looking forward to many exciting things ahead….
I know there are some wonderful things on the horizon for you now that you are open to them…. it’s sad to see fundametals.net close after all that you put in to it, but new beginnings hold a lot of promise and can’t be beat!
That necklace rocks out loud!
Jeanette – Sometimes it takes more courage to end something than it does to start one. I know the decision to close fundametals.net must have been a difficult one, but it sounds like you are freeing up time to do more of what you love, and that is always a good thing.
I wish you nothing but blessings, my friend, and if that necklace is any indication, you are off to a fabulous start!
What a tough decision to make, closing fundametals! But, there are only so many hours in the day and I’m sure that letting go of the shop will free up a lot of your time for other things that are important to you. Best wishes on any new ventures!
You know Jeanette my throat closed as I read your post..that happens when I get emotional…I think its because it reminded me of the first time I read the poem “The Journey” by Mary Oliver..the first line reads…”One day you knew what you had to do,and began, though the voices around you kept shouting their bad advice.”…Well,it sounds to me as though you “know” exactly what you need to do…and this is a blessing…sometimes,it is not enough to know…we have to begin, and you have, and now there is no stopping you.Bravo.
