Jeanette Blix Ryan

I first began working with wire five years ago. I’ve been fortunate enough over that time to learn from the master wireworkers in the field today. I absolutely love wireworking, and not a day goes by without me spending some time with my pliers and raw coils of wire.

Three  years ago, I began teaching wire classes in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, sharing my knowledge and love for wireworking with others. I’m a stickler for using proper technique when working with wire. Yes, there is a right way and a wrong way to bend, twist, pound and shape wire!

In 2010, I, along with my co-partner, Cindy Wimmer, started a new venture called ArtBLISS Workshops, hosting jewelry and mixed medial retreats in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

I have a full plate. Between teaching and overseeing ArtBLISS, I have a husband, two young children, and a sweet Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier puppy named Teddie. . Life is Good!
