Jeanette Blix Ryan

Biography

Jeanette teach’s wire & metalworking classes in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, sharing her knowledge and love for creating metal jewelry with others. She is a stickler for using proper techniques.  “Yes, there is a right way and a wrong way to bend, twist, pound and shape wire & metal and hold your tools.”

In 2010, Jeanette, along with her co-partner, Cindy Wimmer, started a new venture called ArtBLISS Workshops, hosting jewelry and mixed medial retreats in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

Between teaching and overseeing ArtBLISS, she is married with two young children, and has a sweet Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier puppy named Teddie who demands much of her attention right now!
