About Me
I first began working with wire four years ago. I’ve been fortunate enough over that time to learn from the master wireworkers in the field today. I absolutely love wireworking, and not a day goes by without me spending some time with my pliers and raw coils of wire.
Two years ago, I began teaching wire classes in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, sharing my knowledge and love for wireworking with others. I’m a stickler for using proper technique when working with wire. Yes, there is a right way and a wrong way to bend, twist, pound and shape wire!
In 2008, I launched fundametals.net, an on-line resource for wire and metalworking tools and supplies. The shop’s mission is to:
- Provide high quality jewelry tools and supplies
- Give exceptional customer service because anything less is unacceptable!
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the right tool for the right job – We aren’t tool pushers! The last thing we want you to do is spend money on a tool that you don’t really need and in the end probably won’t use.
I have a full plate. Between teaching and running my on-line business, fundametals, I have a husband, two small children, and a sweet doggie named Cabot. But I have the best students, amazing customers and the most precious family. Life is Good!
