Beautiful Tagua Seeds

by Jeanette on July 7, 2009

A special treat for me, the kids are still asleep and I am able to enjoy my cup of coffee in a quiet, peaceful house.  Steve is in South America for business. When he travels I let the kids sleep with me in my bed. We had fun watching Jurasic Park lastnight. I enjoyed seeing it again 20 years later..yes, 20 years!! How can this be??? Now the kids want to see Jurasic Park II. So, we will probably make a trip to blockbuster later today.

My mother will be visiting and arriving on Sunday. I wanted to make her a necklace.  The beads I decided to use in the piece are actually Tagua seeds from South America. I really enjoy using them in my wire designs because they have large holes and I love the variety of colors and shapes they come in. I purchase my Tagua Beads (seeds) from Nature Beads. If you are not familiar with Tagua seeds, take a moment and check out their site. naturebeads1

I would have preferred to use brighter color Tagua seeds for this piece, but these were the only Tagua seeds I had on hand. Oh well, she will be thrilled:) jeanetteskoochinecklace
